Cups are finished with white gross-grain ribbon - the netting between ribbon and the main fabric of the cup is so sheer and thin that on pale skin we get a harness bra effect. The design is calm and classy a perfect basic bra. Both cups and band are made of to layers of fabric. Netting used in the band is much thicker and a bit coarser than the fabric of the cups, but that is not that noticeable once you put the bra on. Straps are rather wide and adorned with a little frilly detail that reminds me of folk Bavarian costumes.

Poleciłabym zatem Selmę osobom przyzwyczajającym się do nowego rozmiaru, które muszą biust nauczyć trzymania się z przodu klaty, a nie pod pachami; będziecie bardzo dobrze widziały, co jeszcze wymaga wygarnięcia :) Dla kobiet z biustem nieprzetrenowanym do leżenia z przodu może to być pewien problem wizualny, więc może Selmę zostawcie sobie na miesiące swetro-bluzowe, drogie nowoostanikowane.

I would recommend Selma to people who have been fitted for the first time lately and want to train their tissue to be actually where it is supposed to be not under arms; you will see clearly how much tissue is there still to migrate :) that being said the visual effect of armpit bulge might not be what you want, so wear Selma during sweater/jumper season.

Band is rather tight and a bit corset-esque from the lack of better word - I cannot fasten the bra wthout help and my boyfriend does that for me (that is due to my anatomy and not the bra itself; it happens everythime I have more that three hooks to deal with). You should try to hunch in this bra; impossible. It keeps you nice and straight like those pseudotherapeutic bands that were advertised in TV and beeped when we hunched. Except Selma does not beep, and it keeps my girls in place so much the bounce is minimized and I can do basic exercise without much pain.

Miseczki wypełniam ściśle, rozmiar jest właściwy, ale konstrukcyjnie nie jest to stanik na piersi blisko siebie osadzone, rekomendowałabym go raczej biustom z tendencją do ucieczek na boki. Mam wrażenie, że fiszbiny są jakby... zbyt płaskie? The cups are fully filled, the size is correct, but this is not a bra for closesly set boobs, I would definitely recommend it more for someone with widely spaced breasts. I am under impression the wires are kind of ... too flat? I feel like in majority of the bras I have wires tend to flax inwards a bit, and in Selma they just don't flex at all, and human body is naturally curvy, not straight. Moreover, the wire channels at the gore are cut at an angle, not in a straight line, which also may be a factor here.

I really respect and appreciate Rosa Faia for being a brand for mature and conservative women, who are unapologetic about the fact that they don't want or need crazy neons or prints; this is a valid and existing pool of consumers (I would be the most happy to get some of the sets featured in AW 17' catalogue) so cheers to keeping up personal style and integrity of the brand. The designs are classy, kind of similar to each other, quality deserves respect. What boggles my mind though are the gores - almost all of the models in RF catalogues have the gores sticking out. I wonder why the brand allwows this - it would be good to try and create new cuts that would accomodate close-set boobs, or just choose models who have boobs that a bit more far apart (please remember that is it almost impossible for one cut to fit all boobs) - or, as a last resort, fix the issue in Photoshop. We have a good product that can absolutely be recommended, yet the pictures damage that good rep. These aren't the 'fits nobody' bras that are made for non-existent bodies, so whay would you leave it as it is...?

Jakość jest świetna i jest to stanik, który będzie służył latami, ale obawiam się, że ręka by mi zadrżała przy kupnie. Na pewno Selma jest stanikiem inwestycją, który szybko się nie zużyje, i trzeba brać ten fakt pod uwagę przy zakupie; materiały mają być mało efektowne, ale stabilne i wytrzymałe. Ponieważ nie jestem fanką bazy i mam jej jak na lekarstwo ze względu na umiłowanie stałych zmian w szufladzie nie jest to dla mnie dostateczny argument za taką ceną ocenę obniżam, ale jestem w stanie sobie wyobrazić, że są biuściaste dla których wydatek rzędu 250 PLN raz na 7 lat to dobra opcja.
Selma is priced at about 250 PLN - in my humble opinion that is too much for a basic bra, especially considering the price is higher than what some luxury brands ask for. The quality is great and all, but my hand would hesitate while reaching for my wallet. Selma is clearly an investment bra that will last for years of wear and you have to decide whether you want to pay so much for a bra designed to be basic staple in your lingerie drawer - it is not a visual firework, but a sturdy and durable product. I am not a fan of basics and I only have a few basic pieces in my collection that I really like evolving so durability is not a factor here for me and I deduct two hearts for the price. I can imagine though that there are busty girls who think that paying 250 PLN for approx. 7 years of wear is a good investment.

Ponieważ nie jestem fanką bazy i mam jej jak na lekarstwo ze względu na umiłowanie stałych zmian w szufladzie nie jest to dla mnie dostateczny argument za taką ceną ocenę obniżam, ale jestem w stanie sobie wyobrazić, że są biuściaste dla których wydatek rzędu 250 PLN raz na 7 lat to dobra opcja.
Selma is priced at about 250 PLN - in my humble opinion that is too much for a basic bra, especially considering the price is higher than what some luxury brands ask for. The quality is great and all, but my hand would hesitate while reaching for my wallet. Selma is clearly an investment bra that will last for years of wear and you have to decide whether you want to pay so much for a bra designed to be basic staple in your lingerie drawer - it is not a visual firework, but a sturdy and durable product. I am not a fan of basics and I only have a few basic pieces in my collection that I really like evolving so durability is not a factor here for me and I deduct two hearts for the price. I can imagine though that there are busty girls who think that paying 250 PLN for approx. 7 years of wear is a good investment.
